Who we are

A small Townsville builder, and that is the point.

Nathan holds the licence, prices the work and runs the sites. We have an in house team of carpenters who produce the bulk of the work, backed by a trusted network of subcontractors, so you get the same faces on your property from start to finish.

What we do

Two things, done properly.

We build custom new homes and we take on large renovations. Everything else that might sit under those, kitchens, bathrooms, outdoor living, comes with the job rather than being sold separately.

A home drawn around how you live and how the block actually sits.

Custom New Homes

A home drawn around how you live and how the block actually sits.

A custom home should suit the block it stands on and the people who will live in it. We start with orientation, breeze, slope and outlook, then work the plan around those before anything is drawn in detail.

Large Renovations

Whole home work where walls move, levels change and services get replaced.

Renovation is the harder discipline. You are working with what is already there, and a house rarely gives up its secrets until the linings come off. What matters is that the surprises get found early, priced honestly and communicated straight away.

I got Nathan Traill Constructions to do a new kitchen for me, and honestly, they nailed it. The team was easy to deal with, turned up on time, and the end result looks incredible—exactly what I wanted. They handled everything professionally, kept the place tidy, and made the whole process stress-free. It’s rare to find tradies who are this reliable and easy to work with. If you need someone who does great work and makes the job simple, I can’t recommend Nathan Traill Constructions enough. I’ll definitely be using them again!

Nathan recently completed a full bathroom rebuild for me after water damage, and I’m really happy with the result. The job was more complex than a standard renovation, but he handled everything professionally and made it easy to manage even though I was interstate and travelling for work for most of the project. The workmanship is excellent, the space looks great, and everything was finished to a high standard. After the renovation, we were able to go straight to market and sell immediately, which really speaks to the quality of the work. Overall, a reliable and easy person to work with. I’d happily recommend Nathan for anyone needing a bathroom rebuild.

Nathan recently completed a series of renovations on my property at an excellent standard. He installed a timber feature wall to secure and enclose underneath my house. Nathan also installed 65 square meters of concrete driveway from start to finish. Very well organised and easy to deal with.

Staying informed

You should never have to wonder how your build is going.

Every project runs through Buildertrend, the construction management platform we use to keep you in the loop from the first day on site to handover.

You get your own login. Rather than waiting for a phone call or wondering how the week went, you can open the app and see where your build is up to whenever you want.

  • 01

    Project updates as they happen

Daily logs, site photos and progress notes are posted as the work goes, so you can see what happened on your build this week without having to ask.

  • 02

Talk to the team in one place

Messages, questions and decisions live in the one thread against your project instead of being spread across texts, emails and phone calls that nobody can find later.

  • 03

    Schedule and progress visible

The program is in there, so you can see what is coming up, what has been completed and how the job is tracking against the dates we gave you.

  • 04

    Selections and documents on record

Approvals, selections, variations and documents are stored against the job, so there is one version of the truth and both sides can go back to it.

Come and walk the site with us.

Site consultations are free, and you will get a straight answer on whether the job is worth doing before you spend anything on it.
